you know, if Segil did admit he liked Inju and treated him nicely, things would've been so vastly different, but he didn't, he abused Inju not only physically but also mentally, he made Inju so anxious and made him even doubt his own self worth, thank god Dowoon came and made him open his eyes that what Segil did to him is/was absolutely diabolical and heinous, and did not come from a place of good intentions, also love how Dowoon didn't just up and help Inju, because Inju needed to help himself first before asking anyone's help from all those poisoning things Segil said to him over the years
