Everytime I see people quickly categorize characters into flags, it just makes me realize how much we are going backwards in literacy. No one wants to dissect the complexities of characters anymore. They see certain flaws and immediately complain what a certain character isn't acting how they're expecting them to be.

Like, wasn’t that obvious from the beginning? When exactly did the author promise you a perfect guy and a story with zero conflict? The whole point of a plot is that it has a conflict to move the story along. Jaeyi is a complex character with flaws. So is Ideum. This is why there’s a story between them. Otherwise, it would just be feel-good slop with smut. And if you like that, that’s fine, but getting mad at the author for not delivering something (perfect green ML) that they NEVER promised is weirdo behavior.
