i just on my fyp that there's a new chap updated on the hounds of Sisyphus, i saw in that oanel that guwon and the mc drop in a cliff where there is a countless of their body like the replicas. And i quite dont get what it meants and i said to myself that lemme look at ghe comments of ghe latest uploaded chap here and boom thank god that you explained it with your own understandstanding i love u so much
Praise the fucking Lord cause if Guwon died alone I woulda gone through the screen and push mc of the cliff my motherficking self.
Now im thinking that maybe guwon is Sisyphus and mc is meant to represent the boulder unironically guys. Like think about it gueon reaches almost the end of this labouring lifestyle by finding peace in mc and loving him just for it to all come crashing.
However then I’m thinking why it’s specifically “hounds of Sisyphus” and if we go back to Greek mythology again. Prominent hounds mentioned always have a common traits of loyalty or/and protection over something. Possibly as we all know Guwon a “hounds” are always by his side loyal as ever and yet the only thing that doesn’t want to obey him or in the context pushes against him is mc. (Maybe that’s why he finds solice in him god knows)
Just as mc is about to trust him (or as the boulder reaches the top) an external force seeps its way into his head and logic seems to be defied as mc almost immediately throws away that trust and their relationship goes back to square one.(this kinds reminds me of that other time rewind bl i read lmao)
But then you’d be wondering which god is punishing him and to that I say idk. What a king to a god. What a god to a non believe man idk. Maybes it’s mcs consciousness punishing everyone and when ht finally comes to terms with the fact he killed his dada probably then the cycle with end
