Please explain for those of us who don't know

sisyphus is the greek myth abt the guy (sisyphus) who’s forced to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity, he can never reach the top. i think that the time loop and an infinite problem that can never be solved is like directly related to the plot. the mc and ml (maybe ?) are forced in this loop forever (as far as we know)
