She does! Against both of their wills, though. The crazy doctor succeeds in sneaking the "antidote" for her lack of periods (basically the formula to conceive girls in the Taran family) and she ends up getting pregnant.
It all works out in the end. Damian never gets to know the Taran secret and he gets to grow up with a happy family.
