I mean he's gone. that's more like letting go of the deceased lover I think? it's not like both of them exist at the same time
and bihwan at least needs some time to come to terms with that and he can't cling to those feelings forever
I hope they will meet for the last time somewhere for him to get some closure
For me, I honestly don’t care cause I’m like they’re technically the same person so I just don’t give a fuck cause I’m like haven’t we already established that the both of them cannot coexist at the same time. Like my theory is that within the story towards the end or whatever they’re going to see the old one, but the old one isn’t going to be able to like exist so he’s just going to like disappear or whatever and then you know, everyone will get their closure and then MC will be the one here now like he’s a part of him so it doesn’t matter to me
It was really confusing to me because I feel like they kinda cheated/contradicted themselves. I could've SWORN that early on they established that KS wasn't reincarnated into Minchan, and now they're saying that his soul is co-mingling with Minchan's (which is very similar). I don't really see why they had to go this roundabout way when there were other ways to further the plot and romance along without it having such a bittersweet aspect to it.

Okay, confusing as heck soul-mingling aside, why does ML have to choose? Why can't he love both MC and his "ex," so to speak? Why does this have to be a narrative of letting one of them go? I hate that; they may as well have not included the "past lover" bit at all.
