I agree. I stopped at chapter 46 and when I saw that Josh finally told him the true was out, I quickly picked this back up.. but idk it was kinda a let down? Idk I expected a more thorough conversation and it was just very sudden…
i agree. may i please know what the other story with a similar trope was? i used to avoid runaway pregnancy stories so i haven't read much like at all, but the one where the father breaks down upon finding out sounds much more interesting. tysm have a flower (ᴗˬᴗ)ꕤ.ﾟ

The part where Chase was told he has son was a bit unsatisfying, i read the novel too and i realized it was more about his trauma, knowing he didn't do it with a dog, i mean that's important too but U HAVE A SON!!! And his reaction was more on relief and anger towards his brother, and it was very short no other conversations about the son. Unsatisfying because it has big part on the story but was left like that.
I have read a trope like this before but the ml was sobbing and crying out of heartache of not knowing he has a family, and then the next couple chapters was him getting to know and making it up to the kid and the mc.
Anyway, i hope they make more side stories cuz the novel ended so fast
