Vtubing isn’t a forever job, it’s a passion. Once it trickles down and his viewer count gets low there’s nothing to stop him from going back to corporate. He might be working lower rank jobs until he works his way up again but you don’t have to have a stable job all the time if you have other resources you can rely on and it’s not permanent
Yeah but throughout vtubing he can get other opportunities in the entertainment industry or even fashion who knows ? Even if it is not stable going out of your way to fully dedicate yourself to your passion is admirable to me. And in the current economy even « stable » job aren’t guarantee ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It is fiction anyway lol
You sound like my 72 year old grandma who feels the need to point out that the obvious exaggerated movie plot only works 'cause it is within a movie.
I'd like to think at least most of us reading this know the difference between reality and something that so clearly works mostly 'cause it is within a fictional setting.
I don't think we need a disclaimer that hey, throwing your stable 9-5 with a good income for something you started as a hobby doesn't normally work out this well.
Well, at least some of us don't need it so plainly spelled out. Clearly some of ya'll do, tho lol
I don’t think pursuing a passion is a bad thing, sure it may not be stable but I think it it’s something someone is 100% in to and wants to put their effort in and is sure that it isn’t just a temporary thing than is it really that bad? Of course things like being mistaken and it truly not being a passion happens but otherwise I think people should be allowed to do what they find most joy in even it won’t give the most prosperous life

His decision to be a full time streamer is fk-ing dookie. It ain't gonna slide irl lmao (unless he becomes super duper popular where he can get sponsorship and ads).
But as this is a fake ass story, it'll work out for them.
Moral of the story is, don't do what he did lmao.
