Stop with this Lucas and Vincent shit

Oh God… I genuinely understand why Lucas is so loved, because I love him too, but it’s absolutely wild to say that Vincent isn’t the best choice for Paula. That’s basically disregarding her feelings
The story makes it so clear how genuine Lucas’s love for Paula was, but it also shows just how empathetic and understanding he is. He understood that Paula didn’t feel the same way about him, and instead of forcing anything or holding it against her, he accepted it. They shared some truly deep and special moments, and their connection was beautiful in its own way. Lucas is such a deep, kind person, someone who has gone through so much without ever feeling the need to talk about his own struggles. I genuinely love his character, and I think his ability to understand Paula’s feelings, even when they weren’t what he hoped for, makes him even more admirable.

But Paula and Vincent? That’s something completely different. Their connection, their dynamic, and the way their relationship develops are on an entirely different level. Their story is written so beautifully that you can understand so much through the smallest details, the way they act around each other, and the emotions they struggle to put into words.
That’s why it genuinely makes me mad when people constantly bring Vincent down just to praise Lucas. You can love Lucas, appreciate his character, and acknowledge how beautiful his relationship with Paula was without acting like Vincent isn’t right for her. Those two relationships are fundamentally different, and that’s exactly the point.

I truly believe the story does an amazing job of showing us that love doesn’t always mean being the right person for someone, and Lucas understood that. But what Paula has with Vincent is something else entirely. Please, let’s stop putting Vincent down just because Lucas is so lovable. You can appreciate both characters without overlooking what makes each relationship so special.
