People made stuff up because they were annoyed seeing everyone complain about their lists being gone, jobless indeed.

The most we actually knew was the the list would return. Would they return in their correct orders? We didn't know that. And now we do, they won't.

I'm not actually sure if they returned normally for others but everyone I've seen talk about this has said their lists are all messed up and they've manually started fixing it themselves

I've started doing the same, I'm not gonna sit here and do 1100+ in one sitting, I just fix them whenever I feel like

the general conclusion now (but still not confirmed) is that the lists aren’t coming back UNLESS you have rated all of the works you’ve read/are reading— so basically, most of us are fucked

there are a lot of other users who claim to have info although none of them are actual devs so take their info with a grain of salt.

no one knows for sure at this point if all the lists are coming back, so i’ve personally just given up and i am using the site normally, adding stuff to my lists, and i also made a list on spreadsheets to save myself when something like this happens again. i recommend you do the same.

Wait are you able to send me a message with a photo on your spreadsheet? That sounds like a cool idea but I'd like to see what exactly it looks like upfront

And I personally suggest not editing your lists on site rn as it's very buggy and you may lose some entries.

If you have questions, ask me. I've tried to keep up to date as possible.

I just want to add. Rated/tagged is not made up. There is proof in emails. They're just not responding to emails right now because they're busy fixing the site. It has been radio silence from devs otherwise.

The site has gone down before and list have been deleted. In past years, they were able to properly recover it. This time though, the disk containing the lists data crashed so they're only able to recover lists data through the rated/tagged data.

The reason why lists were messed up is because devs were restoring stuff manually basically.

I would suggest not messing with your lists but ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I guess I am just a jobless chud.

I just want to add, I never said the rates/tagged were made up. Actually, I never even specifically mentioned them.

If anything the fact that everything I said was true was proof enough that whatever you just assumed in your head about my reply was wrong.

Cause I've had to reply to multiple people on people's post asking about lists because someone still told them they are still all coming back. Imo your comment read like that but ig I was wrong. I thought you were someone that was still spreading the outdated information we got before the disk crash.

Though I do want to add as I personally keep a spreadsheet, and I saw your comment about wanting to know how the other's was organised:
I organise mine like this in google sheets (i prefer excel though):

Cover Img | Title | Alt title | Author | Genre (drop down tag) | Status (Read etc.) | Summary | Link

In the cell for cover image: use =image (CELL)
I put the image links in another column. Because it wasn't working when i did =image(image link)

For the dropdown tag for genre, I place the genres I want in a separate column and have it pick from the column. Just so I don't have to right click and enter a new genre in the specific dropdown window (cause it takes a while to scroll it)

The way this data scrubber sorts it out is also pretty good imo
I've been doing mine manually and have been restoring maybe 5 a day because I managed to restore ~300 from browser history

i can try!! but rlly it’s very simple, i just have separate sheets for my to read/reading/already read, and then i have the basic info like title, no. of chapters, status, and genre. in my reading i added an extra column where i put my last read chapter, and in my already read, i also have a column where i put my rating + comment for each story.

Hello! Thank you so much for answering. Damn, I can’t believe I’ve been lied to It honestly kinda sad because I’ve been here for three years, and now my 500 manhwa haven’t even come back. I did see people saying you only get them back if you rated with the stars but tbf I’ve never done it..
I also definitely don’t remember all of them, so I think I’ll just start from scratch. I’m not going to waste time trying to recover everything because it’s just too much.

I’ve also seen the other responses, and I might start organizing my reading in a spreadsheet too.

LOLLLLS but yeah at least there’s quite a lot of us my old lists will absolutely be missed but i’m not too mad about discovering new stories again and rebuilding my lists
