there was definitely signs but you really have to see this from a perspective of outside of just this manhwa.
people in the west especially are really over the rape slop. it’s a shock because this was a very well received manhwa by the masses and therefore very disappointing when it takes a typical route.
To me, it doesn’t feel random (albeit a bit overdone and forced) but it definitely feels exaggerated. It’s “fanservice”.
This is not uncharacteristic behavior from him? I always knew he was not mentally stable… and I fear this is still not his worst… Like, if you look back you can definitely see the signs he was treading on hair-thin ice. I don’t even have to look back cause I always knew he was not right in the dome… He’s been obsessed with yujin for an indefinite period of time, had an extremely traumatic experience in his formative years, has also made it obvious that his home was not a safe place either back then, and the most glaringly obvious thing; he doesn’t sleep… just look at his face any time he’s alone and not wearing a mask. It felt like foreshadowing to me, really.
