It's really refreshing when a BL has a really neat concept rather than just day-to-day stuff--okay, without it being terribly written. I wanna learn more about the characters, and considering we're at chapter 12, it's weird that we only just got (short) backstories recently. I wasn't big on the SA situation, but I can acknowledge that that was noncon on both sides. I think the overall plot is interesting, but I do hope we focus on more characters just to make the world/situation feel more expansive; I was really bummed out that one of the characters died so suddenly, since I was kinda hoping he'd be a secondary couple with his partner--but he had a wife and child anyway, so I guess not. He could still be alive, but I think of how "Neck and Neck" handled that, and I think it'd be done terribly.
I do appreciate that neither character is unlikable, though ML wants MC to open up and ask for help, and it's really dumb; MC JUST said how he basically raised his younger sister since their mom died, he's being used by drug lords, and ML wants to use him to kill the leader without much clarification on why. He hasn't been super forthcoming and even said he has no plan, so expecting trust is rather disappointing.
Also, I wanna see more of the gang leader; wanting to kill someone doesn't have as much impact if we don't get to see them more often.
