I’ve been rereading the ln recently and wondered how the manga was going bc I remembered it adding in stuff but….this is just a completely different story???? wtf??? I get that the ln takes a much darker turn especially in volume 3 but that’s what makes it GOOD especially the parts covering violette’s complex relationship with her gender & body as a result of the abuse she endured from her mother and yet…this “adaptation” seems to be flattening those parts while adding in more parts for Claudia (who very wisely GIVES UP in ln3 aka around where the updates for this manga are at) and adding in love triangle drama for the sake of it??? if the light novel is violette’s story as a survivor of what was essentially csa then this manga is,,,a poor imitation of a romantic drama…just read the light novel it’s officially licensed and the translation is complete and you can definitely find it on like, zlib
