However, I do like the depiction of a theme I haven't seen in BL before - well sibling syndrome (when a healthy child feels neglected and/or invisible in their feelings and needs because parents prioritize the needs and feelings of the sick child). Contrary to most here annoyed by the triangle going on, I think in this manhwa, the character who gets in the way of the main couple is well written and it all happens in a plausible constellation, so I don't mind it at all. In fact, it's an interesting dynamic and I wonder how Jaeyi will handle his brother triggering his feelings of childhood emotional neglect. How he will try to separate that hurt from taking away Ideum's autonomy as he's a person, not a possession. I think all characters involved have complex feelings to process - Ideum relating to Jaeyi's brother as a former sick kid while trying to please Jaeyi (while navigating his own feelings for him), Jaeyi feeling like he's robbed of what he thinks belongs to him just like how he felt as a child while denying his own feelings for Ideum (for how long tho...), and Jaeyi's brother feeling entitled as his parents let him get away with this behavior as the former ill child while, maybe, genuinely relating to Ideum despite being a sly little shit. I dig it. I hope the authors cooks.
