I wasn't very satisfied with the ending but that was kinda realistic ngl but still, I remember it was a good fucking read. I was neck deep in my depressive phase and laying down in my bed without sleeping the whole night and was reading that, and the pain running all over my body, aching with the desperate need to be seen or even loved, and it was ecstatic. I can't get those feelings back now.
