Well, this had me satisfied at least. Etienne is able to speak out his mind and be free after all that bullshit he went through with his mom. Rishar, well he's still Rishar and all, so he's quite the flat character tbh. The emperor, Etienne's dad, realized his mistakes (which I don't even blame him for, who'd want a child after being forced to be intimate?) and fixed it, and didn't blame his child nor anyone for his ignorance, and really did appreciate Etienne more now. The empress, she got a good enough punishment but really it'd be nicer if it was more after all that she did, but drinking the same medicine for the same amount of years is good enough. And we also see why the empress is like that, which is quite sad but still doesn't excuse her actions. Overall majority of the questions I have are answered, but I do want to know what happened to Theodore. I mean, I kinda grew fond of him seeing his character grow along Etienne. I hope the side stories would be released soon and I'm genuinely excited for them
