No, I actually think it fits the story when you consider the historical context. In ancient times, sex education wasn't something everyone had access to; it was often restricted to privileged groups, while ordinary people and women had very limited knowledge about it. So you have to consider the era they're living in rather than judge everything entirely through a modern lens.
Also, both of them are barely adults, essentially teenagers who have little to no experience with these feelings or situations. Add raging hormones, confusion, and a lack of understanding about what they're experiencing, and obviously, they're not going to handle everything maturely. I'm not saying every action is automatically justified, but I do think their age, inexperience, and historical context matter when interpreting their behaviour. You can't just ignore all of that when judging the characters.
That's true. I already said that I understand it. But that's not my point. I don't have a problem with them being intimate. What I don't like is the recklessness of doing it in public when it is heavily emphasized that MC was protecting a secret that is tied to his family and his whole kingdom. We established that caution right from the very start, so doing a high-risk action in a public place doesn't sit well me.

I understand that they're inexperienced, and feeling horny is a new thing for them... it's not that it's wrong to explore but like...doing it in public and risking his identity for pleasure is sooooo uncharacteristic of psyche. Given that he spent his whole life hiding away his true gender and risking it carelessly like that defeats his purpose, you know what I mean??? I hate when authors do this, diminishing their character's sense of purpose just for the smut.
