I honestly don’t know how to feel about this one. It was amazing and weird at the same time. I mean, I really, REALLY loved the uke! He was so sweet, genuinely mature, and actually capable of communicating!! I also loved the beginning, how he changed the events of the novel and refused to be raped or humiliated, and how he had clear boundaries that he wouldn’t let anyone cross. All of that was honestly amazing.
But finding out later that the seme was the same person across all the dimensions was really unsettling. I mean, despite all the suffering he went through and everything else, that doesn’t change the fact that he was a rapist in their first life. I don’t know, I feel like this is more complicated than we can judge from our own perspective, but I still felt uncomfortable with that aspect of the story.
Overall, though, it was a good read if you can look past the seme’s past. And honestly, I’d give it five stars purely because of the uke and how amazing his personality was LMAOOOO he literally became one of my favourites! It really was a good manhwa with such a unique concept and storyline!
