So the seme works at the ultimate toxic company, working almost every day a year with little time off (at first they say something like 360 days a year, but then they mention getting weekends off) to the point where everyone's health is declining, and only gets out of it because he has cancer--but then he finds out he doesn't; he's actually pregnant. Considering this isn't an omegaverse and he's a top, there are questions.

Oh, and he's also a kidnapper--but it's hard to tell who to feel bad for; obviously the uke didn't deserve to be kidnapped and SA'd, but he is depicted as a selfish mooch before being kidnapped. Considering all the bonkers stuff going on, I actually feel bad for the seme; he works, cooks, and cleans and barely has any down time while the uke gets to lounge (with a chain, but still), and has been shown to kinda get used to it since he's used to people enabling him. This goes on for a couple (I've seen the translations use "two" and "three") years and the uke eventually escapes, but is unsuccessful in finding a job and can't really sell his body since he can't get aroused for women and doesn't want to bottom for men. Also the seme almost gets SA'd by a director at the company and another company employee, and we're just now starting to get flashbacks of the past the uke and seme shared; forgot about that. Heh, I say "just now" like it's been a while, but it's only been 11 chapters; SO MUCH is going on that it feels like the story's been 3 times as long. I'm also very confused about the job situation; the seme could've just looked for a different job, despite the company being known for punishing whistleblowers and keeping people from quitting? Also confused on how he ended up being stabbed in the back.

The story is thus far very comedic; the insane work environment, the pregnancy with no apparent cause, the kidnapping story that makes you feel worse for the kidnapper...it's a lot, and obviously not meant to be seen as dark as other stories would take this material. This whole situation feels like a fever dream--and surprisingly, I'm invested. It's kinda like a comedic take on "Sadistic Beauty: BL Side Story" and a bit of "Accidental Baby."

Also disappointing note: the uke used to be buff, but years of being a kidnapped victim have made him scrawny-ish. And does anyone have any recommendation on which translation I should be reading?
