I hope the flashback doesn't last too long, as some childhood friendship stories do, and I'm questioning if that guy MC was with was his brother or father. What happened to him? Plus I don't really see the flashback giving me sympathy for ML. It'll show why ML feels attached to MC, but considering how nice MC is to ML when everyone was rude, it feels really wrong for ML to take advantage of MC and even say he only liked him because he was a pushover.
