We get his back story right? So I think the mokyeon now is still him, the scared and insecure, suicidal mokyeon is not just out of the fluke. He's still emotional and actually not expecting nanjo to have sex with him, he's even surprised N kissed him.
It could be this tbh. I do remember when Mokyeon was visiting Nanjo’s “house” he was being clingy to Nanjo and that could have been him opening up, in s2 Mokyeon has opened up and showed his true self to Nanjo. Begging for love from Nanjo that he never fully received when growing up, but idk I just feel kinda icky that Mokyeon is acting like a whole ass baby. (I get why but do you really have to cry over every little thing?)
Yeah i get you, it feels “over the top” but this i feel the same with nanjo, he was just nonchalant chapters ago and now horny and sexual like? Author going all in, cut us some slack author
Depression and childhood trauma will do that to you, I'm thinking him growing out his hair was also a way for the author to portray a perfect visual parallel with him as a child in the nightmare
the writing got poorer, like mind you mokyeon getting hit by the car, them meeting at the hospital, and them doing the shabang all happened in like a 24-48 hour time span. i was giving it the benefit of the doubt, them doing the shabang is just a dream mokyeon had but no. like i was loving the chasing arc but what about the redemption arc? the author wrote the chasing arc for a few chaps then had them go straight to the shabang after mokyeon had a little car accident. 2026 bl manhwa need better writers ;-;
True that. I want more plot than their sex scenes now. But all writers are kinda like this.. it’s always a good plot at first then they just continue it with sex whole story.. it’s sad for us who want more plot (especially me who also like to analyse things) but i think authors think that the audience might get bored if “just plot”, after all it is yaoi.. i don’t know just my thoughts.
thats why more readers should invest their time more on novel-adapter bl manhwas! most of them are well written and have a good balance between plot and smut!
