Nathan started to really like Alex despite him being an Alpha. Alex was incredibly pressured by his father to become a pro soccer player and there was a dude named David on the soccer team that basically had power and connections to manipulate who could play on the field or not. Alex decided to try and get on David’s good side by doing him a favor if he gets to play, but he didn’t realize it meant having to date David’s little brother, Ian, who had crushed on him for over 2 years. Alex obviously rejected Ian but David got angry and boom he basically tried to get 3 dudes to rape Nathan and Ian is the one who told Alex this. Alex goes and finally finds Nathan but Nathan already defended himself. Nathan asks Alex if what those guys said were true, that Alex sent those guys because he didn’t like Nathan and all that. Alex was basically getting black mailed by David with Nathan’s nude photos that were taken by him without his consent by his ex, so to protect Nathan, Alex said yes it was all his doing and ever since then everything fell apart.
