This is a question that came to my mind many times .... I'm not sure but what if Josh's heat also triggered that moment? I hope someone answers this
If I remember correctly, Chase's rut had triggered Josh's heat. So let's just say both of them weren't in their prime.
Furthermore, Josh explicitly said he'd never been attracted to men, and that Chase had always been the only one.
if c were in a rut that night, does that mean josh took advantage of him because he likes him? anyway, i'm happy that they've got their happy ending. can't wait for the wedding!
