as a novel reader, these comments are so frustrating to read guys. the male lead is alright. he doesn't take mc for granted, nor is mc a rebound. nor does he fall in love with mc because his previous love didn't work out. he genuinely comes to love mc with time. he gets to fall in love with mc by spending time with him and caring for him. he also starts accepting that his previous love wasn't meant to be. also stop trashing the male lead just because he is/was in love with someone other than mc. people are allowed to have feelings, a lot of y'all seem so upset that it wasn’t love at first sight or whatever. like if y'all can't handle unrequited love and re-encounters then don't read it? the tags are right there. if you don't like it so far then the story just isn't for you. both mc and ml are so precious.
