Solid story and character development! Fak it was nice how the story focused on the characters and their influence on each other! The first couple was so lovely. For a one-chapter story, the pacing of their bond development was soooo nice. Anji reminds me of Jooyeon and yodaka reminds of Ode from XDIZ. They're so lovely together and it's nice to see them maintaining that loveliness throughout the whole storyline.
I think the simple premise of the second story was great as it gave enough room to explore their individual struggles. I love how we get to see them communicating and being the right people to empathize with each other. It's such a good and ideal portrayal of adults who are self-aware and had grown enough to accept their insecurieties and weaknesses. Hence, Miya's presence in ritsuki's life becomes essential--his maturity and similarity reflect back the latter's potential. He's there to echo ritsuki's music, rather than compose it for him. And it's lovely to see how the foundation of their relationship grew from admiration to affection steadily. The reread value of this story is high! Not to mention how nice the band relationship is overall (so supportive and warm! Kudos to ritsuki's korean friend, too).
P.S. I listened to voyager by xdiz just to add to the vibe when reading the performance of the band!
