There's Only One Way I'll Accept This

The continuation made a little bit of sense to me since the grandfather was indeed an issue in the main story, however brief. I didn't really like it and thought it was way too cruel for the sake of drama but I understood why it was happening and that was enough for me to be curious about how this would affect Bom and Taesung as people and as a couple. But if this whole thing didn't deeply impact their relationship and they went through all that for NOTHING, I'm gonna be pissed.

The only thing that would make this acceptable to me is if Haebom is actually hiding his true feelings from Taesung. I want to see Bom get angry/ sad at Taesung and tell him how much he hurt him. I want Taesung to have to face how much he hurt the man he loved after the man he loved suffered so much bc of his grandfather's actions. I want Haebom to be way too positive and loving and Taesung is suspicious and filled with guilt once he realizes that Haebom is putting Taesungs's feelings before his own again. And I want Haebom to crack and have everything spill out and Taesung has to truly reflect on all of this and how he took advantage of Haebom's love, knowing he would wait despite the pain he cause him. I want them to talk about Haebom's experience in isolation and how he's been feeling similar ways after Taesung left. I want them to figure out how they can heal and have a healthy bond after all this trauma together. And I want confirmation that the grandfather is dead af.

But....I doubt that's gonna happen. And that really sucks cuz they could have taken a meh continuation that didn't need to happen and made it genuinely impactful and interesting. Still wouldn't have been necessary but at least it would have felt like it happened for a reason.
