YES!!!! the last point, they DO create the scenes so terribly. The former scene composition was so smooth and well designed. The current one looks like someone put a pen in a amateur's hands and a gun to their temple.
This type of art reminds me of old timey manga art, all pointy and angled, big hair, small elongated faces, beanpole bodies. And i hate that art so I hate this art. Earlier, even the colour pallete complemented the name. With the former art style, the colour palette was slightly desaturated and the colour mint showed up in small articles like mugs, shirts, etc which created a really nice contrast with the rest of the composition.
And the expressions were really nice. I made a whole post on the artist's expression game, which was actually much more nuanced than most bl authors.
Y'all saying this art is not bad etc etc, it is bad. The linework is messy, the colouring is off, the expressions are ugly, seme's eyes look like Susan Dell's and the colour mint figures nowhere in compositions, the uke looks extremely feminised when earlier he looked a bit twinky but still not all the way.
It is objectively bad art, MORE SO, because the former art was so good and on point. I know the creator isn't going to see this but hope the they do and do something about it.
