Honestly, regardless if there are rails or not, my parents would never have me climb the stairs on the outside. It takes one moment of carelessness to slip and hurt yourself. I would never have any kid climb the rails on the outside either. Even more so with glass ones.
i'd understand climbing outside the stairs if it had metal railings that you can a good grip on (still wouldn't recommend it bc you could slip and fall) but glass railings are so slippery? THAT is a strict no（￣へ￣）
