Why do I have a feeling that THE guy (that MC played with in high school, that threatened to SA? the ML when they were younger and caused MC to lie) will come back and be either a major nuisance or a major turnaround, or both, for their relationship? My brain had also considered that that guy might be the killer, but that'd be too farfetched. Idk, "sometime they come back" kinda thoughts. I haven't reread this story, so my memories are kinda foggy in the exact past.
