No, it was always his dad. It's just that, initially, Jinwoo's perception and memory of the event was impaired by his head injury.
It's revealed back in the S1 finale that the 'rando' was actually his dad. He got the initial head injury days(?) prior from a robber that his dad scared off.
Im still so confused like at the beginning of the manhwa the dude first finding mc was a rando trying to kill him and in this reset timeline its his dad? Does that mean every reset is a little different which is why mc remembers different events happening even tho the reality in the moment was another?
