Ok. And we are just supposed to ignore the ML's thoughts and accept ogMC because he is delulu??? He is in some assumption they will get married and are working towards that, when they got set up ONCE, to which they never even went, because ML was never interested but ogMC then fell for him, started following him around and then put a claim on the man, who rejected the boy MULTIPLE TIMES. and MC only accepted ML's advances after ml clearly stated that they have no relationship, and ogmc just following him around. And it was the him who begin to act weird with MC in the first place, thinking he was purposely trying to follow ml and seduce him when he did no such thing and then blame him. In no manner is the friend/og mc innocent.
I'm not saying ogMC is entitled to ML's feelings. What I'm saying is that we the readers see the progress between MC and ML and how MC didn't fully lie when he said he has nothing to do with ML early on. However, from the perspective of ogMC, MC told him he has nothing to do with ML after ogMC told him they are together and then a few days or weeks later, he sees them on a date. So, it looks like MC lied to ofMC and got together with the guy knowing he is to be married soon.
We the readers saw the back and forth but ogMC just sees an apparent betrayal
I really get that, because ogmc had already told everyone they had something going on. And technically, mc knew they were going to be a couple according to the novel.
To ogmc his worries are justified, because in his mind they are going to get married. Sure, he could have seen that as betrayal. But in reality that's not true at all. And they have absolute no sort of romantic relationship. Like ogmc is following the man everywhere to the point he's trying to build a relationship with the grandma, as if that will solidify something. He's more of an annoyance than anything. So I feel like his feeling of betrayal doesn't count.
So far, I don't even dislike the friend who was supposed to be with ML in original story. MC told him he has nothing to do with ML then he saw them on a date and all of this after he clearly told MC that he and ML are about to et married. He is not the evil one in this story whatsoever...at least not at this point of the story. From his perspective, his friend and the guy he likes are together after his friend clearly lied to him
