Basically ezra tricks grayson in exchange for money and helps some guys kidnap him (i dont even remember who was chasing him down back then) but grayson gets seriously injured and ezra ends up in jail… that was when grayson and dane had fought and ezra lied to him and lured him into a trap by saying that “dane is waiting for you” or something like that… it was super fucked up
as for dane he quits his job at the firestation at the end of the novel and lets grayson come up for his expenses HAHAHAH actually dane always wanted to meet a rich old lady and be her 2000th lover and live off her but with grayson he was hesitant at first cause hes such a fool
