The plot was mildly pointing towards mpreg all the time: 1. Pheromones (the ML can sense the MC by following the Pheromones and other scenes also pointed it). 2. Bond/partnership mark 3. So MANY knots. Usually after the 1st knot the belly appears where's our puppies author . 4. The family didn't reject his partner for being a man at all, they didn't say like "you can't marry a man because no kids!" they only rejected people that are not choosen by them. A veery strong point pointing towards mpreg. 5. In the last chapter when they move together and ML was extra careful with MC after knotting him with the shape shifted triple knot dick, it felt like the MC was extra sensitive and the ML could sense that. That's so much mpreg hint, like the wolf can feel that the MC has a seed blooming inside.
