Alisha being thrown away just feels off to me at least. Because she has experienced a fair share of the same things with Paula. Yeah she's been favored by her father, but she was still in the same ditch as the rest of her family. Where she used the only thing she has to survive their Alcoholic father which is beauty.
She's not the perfect victim, and she's most definitely someone who manipulates their way to get what they want. But could you really blame her?
Especially when Paula is this sympathetic towards her siblings I wish the author didn't frame Alisha like this indefinite villain who's evil since birth. We don't even know her true thoughts and feelings to seeing their father's abuse. I wish we could've seen a more love—hate relationship with them like early on in season 2 if I remember correctly.
