It was just showing how insatiable Ian is because this is the first time he is having sex and it’s with the person he deeply yearns for. Generally I see Somnophilia a general agreement in fictional couples, because yeah they are endgame and deeply infatuated with each other. Emotionally and physically, so unless it’s said straight out or we have a clear SEVERE reaction from the mc. Then I would assume most things are open on the table of possibilities in FICTION.
