I think unfortunately a lot of the readers mindlessly defending this are really young and just kind of lacking the life experiences or empathy needed to pick up on the problem. Which tbh makes it more disturbing that they're reading and normalizing it to themselves. I don't wish it upon them, but finding out your body was being penetrated or manhandled while you were unconscious or too incapacitated to recall afterwards is SO incredibly violating. Yes, even (or especially imo) when done by a trusted partner. And by the time you're an older adult you will have heard *many* stories from other women and men who have experienced it and are deeply traumatized by it. To the extent it has made them paranoid and struggle with sleep for years if not decades.
This is not a quirky "haha he wanted him so bad he couldn't help it, that's hot" thing. Men who are comfortable with doing that, not knowing or caring if you're okay with it, are absolutely vile fucking creatures. Justifying it with "he turned out to be okay with it" doesn't retroactively give the ML awareness of his consent. Even just imagining him thrusting into a limp body churns my stomach.
Unfortunately Korean BL authors are obsessed with tossing in rape, and since Korean readers seem to absolutely eat it up, we're not getting away from it any time soon...

tbh disappointed and annoyed at the somnophilia. that was not necessary. just have sex while both partners are awake, aware, consenting and enjoying the act. otherwise it makes no sense doing it at all. the top just using the MCs body and not listening to boundaries or common sense just because he's horny is aggravating. was hoping for a green flag tbh since ML waited for MC this whole time, but I really did not like his actions in this chapter at all. idk why the author thought it would be better to include that sort of dub-con behaviour
