Male orcas don't go into heat (or rut) as they're ready to mate whenever female orcas are and initiate it (orcas have intricate social nets and pod cultures, and mating isn't based on males experiencing ruts and hormonal shifts, it's more so a female orca's choice based on size and courtship of the male orca). Only female orcas have estrus cycles.
