Still the best! but....

I waited 3 years for this! and it's by far the best! But, as usual, I have a few complaints.

1. Subin deserved better. In the early chapters, her powers weren't given justice despite her being the Union Association chairman's heir with all the facilities at her disposal. For me she seemed weak unlike Wooin and Jisuk, I especially hate how she was sidelined to make Jiwoo look good, like when he swooped in to save her during the Awakened Academy Arc.

2. The hive-mind mentality. Characters constantly repeat variations of “They're at the level of the Top 50/100” or “They're incredibly powerful for their age.” It gets repetitive and makes the characters feel one-dimensional.

3. Fans might hate me for this, but Jiyoung and Jiwoo's romance relationship feels a little icky. I appreciate the slow burn, but Jiwoo *just* graduated from high school, and somehow, they have time to fight constantly but apparently never study? Education still matters, even if the story doesn't treat it that way. And while their age gap might not be significant as implied, revealing Jiyoung's age would help put things into perspective.

4. Characters lack depth! and I hope that the author would improve them. I'd love more POVs and meaningful backstories beyond fight narration and brief flashbacks. Kayden's history, particularly his connection with Gion Patrick, was only explored much later. Given that the Top 10/50/100 are said to have longer lifespans, there's so much potential to explore their pasts, formative experiences, and relationships.

I love this manhwa, but I hope the author gives the characters more agency, individuality, and depth. The world building has so much potential, and I'd hate to see it go unexplored.

Also, Idk if i should ship Kaiden x Kartein or Kaiden x Gestella hahahha I hope that in the next few chapters we'll see different sides of characters (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

See ya'll in 3 years
