Thanks. I know what my boundaries are and im not afraid to speak my opinions. And also those who down vote. dont have to give a response. But I like hear other people's opinions. So be afraid. I grew in debate culture and religion classes because I believe all opinions matter whether or not people want to hear it. Prospective are important. And right and wrong. So i ramble.

The Argument: Why Media Representation of Minors Matters
Real-World Consequences over "Just Fiction": The argument that "it's just fiction" ignores how media shapes human mindsets. For survivors of childhood abuse, portraying minors sexually isn't harmless entertainment; it normalizes the objectification of vulnerable populations.
The Danger of Normalization: When media sexualizes children or characters who look like children, it blurs critical boundaries. In the real world, children rely entirely on adults to teach them what is safe and appropriate. Normalizing these themes in popular culture desensitizes the public to grooming and exploitation.
A Survivor’s Perspective on Vulnerability: Survivors often speak from a place of lived experience. Many children who are victims of abuse do not even realize they are being harmed or manipulated until years later, because they were never taught what boundaries look like.
The Responsibility of Media and Communities: Just as society moves to restrict or ban other forms of inappropriate, harmful, or exploitative content, there should be a collective responsibility to reject the sexualization of minors in media. Protecting children, both in terms of awareness and physical safety, must come before any defense of fictional content.

< I had to add this because when I wrote what I originally wrote I went straight to Ai to fix my grammar. But then i wanted to add a few points and arguments against media censorship > down below is what i originally wrote.)
My Perspective: Why We Must Ban the Sexualization of Minors in Media.
I don’t condone pedophilia, but whenever a new manga chapter drops, I come and read the comments just to see what people are fighting about.
Honestly, it feels like the world is filled with predators, and the terrifying part is that we can’t run from it.
I was shocked to learn that certain series are getting animated. I hope they ban them—just like libraries ban inappropriate books to protect the public.
Banning happens when something is fundamentally harmful. We usually rely on a majority vote, and I am praying that animes that portray small children sexually get completely banned. Neither adults nor children should ever see content like that.
If someone is attracted to children, they need to seek medical help. It is a severe mental illness, much like necrophilia. Just because someone likes it doesn't make it right. Even if you claim you aren't actively harming a child, harboring those desires is deeply harmful to yourself and society. People make excuses, saying it's just about the fictional body or a desire to dominate someone smaller.
But attaching a personality to a fictional child just to delude yourself into thinking they are cute, sexy, or attractive is wrong. Trauma isn't an excuse for these actions; it's just how people try to cope with their sickness.
I am speaking from intense personal experience, not just rambling.
If a child is never taught that sex is wrong, or that being molested is wrong, they lose their voice.
<When you take away a child's understanding of boundaries, they will allow anything to happen to them.>
I was a child who didn't even realize I was being raped when I was younger until my next abuser told me. Who My own mother had told them. And she knew of his rumors about being predator but yold herself that it was the victim at fualt because like she was, was a fast little girl. Which i fault her for that werid ass mindset. Ew. But why did she tell him?
I don't know? I was nine.
But back on point.
Understanding boundaries and societal standards is essential for protection.
When these concepts are absent, vulnerability increases, and cycles of harm can persist when indicators are overlooked or ignored.
The long-term impact requires significant time and effort to process and overcome, reinforcing the importance of protecting younger generation.
This is why arguments dismissing the impact of media representations face scrutiny.
Fiction interacts with real-world perceptions and cultural standards. Allowing the sexualization of minors in media can distort societal boundaries that keep vulnerable populations safe. Media censorship in this context is framed not as a limitation on creativity, but as a necessary boundary to uphold societal protection. If a society permits the sexualization of minors on screen, it faces challenges in maintaining robust protections in real life. Certain themes are viewed as fundamentally incompatible with public media.
People love to say, "It's just fiction, it's not real." But that's a lie. What we watch completely changes how we think. When you allow media to turn kids into sexual objects, you mess up the boundaries that keep real kids safe.
Banning this garbage isn't about blocking "creativity."
It’s about drawing a hard line to protect the innocent. You cannot claim you care about protecting real children from abuse while you sit back and enjoy watching them get sexualized on a screen. Some things are just disgusting, wrong, and shouldn't exist—period. A child's safety will always be more important than your entertainment.
