Binge read it all in one day, enjoyed it

I was very pleasantly surprised with this one overall.

I very much enjoyed this one. Especially first 70 episodes.

HOWEVER.

Towards the end though, it kind of devolved into typical lazy fantasy-world-creation-myth, evil-god, whatever-burger. I've yet to see romantasy manhwa where world building and fantasy are strong suites, it's always just padding and theme for the setting, for the character drama... Which would be fine, if it stayed that way. I wish there was more romantasy out there that realized this and just focused on the characters and their drama and politicking, instead of creation myth end of the world fantasy.

It never lands for me, it's always very formulaic and unoriginal. It's not even good or interesting fantasy. And every time when these romantasy manhwas do this, art and pacing never keep up.

It always feels very weird when this one kingdom supposedly is the center of the world, onto which god descended and from which humanity rose... then theres other whole continents, kingdoms and empires that are just there in the background.

Early in the series, there's a whole war conquering a kingdom. After supposed victory and end of said kingdom, ITS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN even if conquering, occupying and seizing entire kingdom and political fallout from the refugees etc. would be quite interesting. Whole war was just offscreened and a reason for timeskip.
