In my country, Halloween isn't like it is in America or other places, we don't take it that seriously, and not everyone celebrates it, though some people do dress up and go to parties. We don't have trick-or-treating here, so it doesn't hold that much significance. Instead, on November 1st, we observe “Day of the Dead” ('Halottak napja'), when we properly mourn our dead all day, and it's a national public holiday. No partying or laughter.
But I still love Halloween, even if my country only adopted it because of marketing and fashion trends. Happy Halloween! I hope someday I can see a real Halloween party.
Oh, but our day of the dead is not like in Mexico (I’m not Mexican), just wanted to mention because I know the Mexican day of the dead all colorful, but we only wear black, like at a funeral. Sorry.
