this might be the first time this happened that i’m starting to suspect my frontal lobe is finally developing—anyway, I won't mention any particular works but there's this one bl where ml is some kind of cosmic presence and mc is a regular dude working as a barista. at first, everything seems cute but it genuinely pissed me off when ml keeps bothering the mc when he's clearly in the middle of doing his job. ml is invisible to others so I guess it's chill if he interacts with him, but it gets to a point where he's just straight up nuisance. like holy shit dude leave him alone, you can jerk him some other time just not on his workplace??? also the fact that he causes intentional problems with mc’s coworker because he's petty and unattractively jealous doesn't help his case. it doesn't entertain me as a reader it just makes me impossibly irritated. irdc what anybody says i’m pretty confident that my agitation is justifiable.
