Off-putting

The main story theme itself is fine, it's about two guys who are trying to rise above their past. Jinwoo wants to acheive his dream despite of his family circumstances and his mother's taunts and guilts and Taeyong who desires to be seen and prioritized as his family constantly puts him down and tells him to "stay low" and how both of these guys get intertwined together after happenstance

Then why am I stating that it is off-putting? The story has too much sex and the fact that Taeyong constantly bullies and manipulates Jinwoo into sleeping with him. I appreciate the fact that the story outright acknowledges that Taeyong is a sleazy manwhore who sleeps around and he's upcoming of his desires initially, but the development doesnt sit with me well and I cant but think that the story is using Taeyong's past as an excuse for his shitty behavior. Even if he now truly likes Jinwoo, his approach is driven by obsession and how he wants to turn Jinwoo into someone who's addicted to sex as he is. Perhaps there is an explanation for Taeyong's behavior, but as for me? I wont be sticking around to find out for now

If you like this story or find it a bit tough to handle, I suggest to read "Between the lines", its similar in concept and the art is just as great as this manhwa but its more story driven and it has plenty of angst to deliver
