I guess this is karma

The pacing for this relationship is insane, but I do get one thing: Wyatt pressuring DeMarcus into this relationship when he was weary about just being "practice partners" and it backfiring on him is completely his fault. That said, DeMarcus said he doesn't wanna really be around anyone else, and I really hate romances like that; you can have friends and a CAREER while having a romance. It makes the world feel so small if you only have one focus. It's wild that only Wyatt was thinking about being careful because of the next game.

Oh, and this chapter shows that Wyatt didn't realize something: he should've been the top--not because of DeMarcus' size, but because if DeMarcus ever did end up playing on an opposing team, Wyatt could just take him to pound town and make him weak in the knees for the next game. #strategy

I think I'd be more on board if the strategy was about that instead, lol. But the situation we got feels overcomplicated and sleazy--and it's even scarier that there were several other people at a party who wanted to get DeMarcus drunk and have sex with him.

That's the wild thing about it; the narrative tells us that Wyatt legitimately was just scheming so he could have sex with girls--but then he suddenly wants to have sex with DeMarcus, so it feels very rushed and incohesive.
