honestly i appreciate the author for the side AU. miscarriage is super common. it's really sad, but i feel like the author has been including a lot of real-world social issues in this comic, despite it seeming like it would be just gore smut. like financial hardship, labor exploitation, pimping/trafficking, the difficulties of living as an undocumented immigrant, etc.
