it's a good read. i cried from angst and frustration lol. since almost all readers gave the story's positive points, im gonna give the negative point.
all forgiving, no dogblood savagery whatever. like with that red hair traitor, the commoner lil bro, etc. all bc fl now finally understood how privileged she was. but girl, she was a young, ignorant, powerless woman in that era who wants peace.
ml's tragedy is not fl's fault. yes, fl is ignorant, or maybe has an idea but doesn't care enough, but doesn't warrant him to abuse her. she's bad bc she chose to be ignorant and live her peaceful noble life. he's bad bc he manipulated and abused her bc she's not the angel he thought she was. understandable, but that's not fl's problem for him to act like that. fl was abused to the point of almost killing herself. yes, ml saved many common people, but why abuse her? letting people and himself trample on her? not even sympathizing abt her miscarriage and her damaged uterus? tf? so the ending should've been: the girl learned and developed her character to be better, while the man learned he's in the wrong as well for abusing his supposedly "beloved" woman to death. there's no need to tie them tgt lol (like girl, even if u understand his situation and how bad u are to him, how can u still love the man who abused u to the point of ? )
also, i dont like the fact that ml only said 1 sorry bc "he has no right to ask for forgiveness" and fl lowkey forgave in a ahort time bc she finally "understood" his side. fl initiated bc she now knows she messed up and wanted to understand him since she's just now learning abt the common life she overlooked before. even working frontline as a medic to repay for her sins. but he didnt even try to understand her. like, nothing at all he's just sticking to her side, protecting her, and not hurting her (last part is a basic human decency btw)
