first thing first, let's look at the caused of your daughter attitude who probably never ever experienced love, not even an empty word or cold hug at least ever since birth.
Why she throws tantrums? Why was her attitude is rotten? But; did anyone tell her what she's doing is wrong? Did anyone comfort her while she's suffering such incurable disease? did the father at least offer an empty apology for neglecting her? Did he even say an empty word when she ask why he chose her instead of saving her mother if he's going to neglect her anyway? Nope! What he gave her we're a cold stare.
