I really don't like a pathetic uke but this one isn't too unbearable. It's a bit more realistic than others I've seen. I do still wish he'd have a bit more self worth but he'll probably grow as the story goes on, no?
I like that he still wants the ML to be happy even if it's not with him and isn't destroyed by it or throwing a fit out of jealousy. He also doesn't have any unrealistic expectations. Even if his insistence on holding on to this unrequited love from highschool after being shut down MULTIPLE times is a bit pathetic, I don't hate him.
