I have so much complaints about this

The art is really good the plotline is unique, but some of the characters' actions and the way they're written are questionable.

I hate the emperor. He's stupid, cowardly, and such a pushover. His character is poorly written and feels so poorly thought out. First, he falls in love with Astaroth, then suddenly he's in love with the Saintess? Is that supposed to justify or explain why they're sleeping together? Because that's such a shallow explanation. And don't even get me started on the self-flagellation. He punishes himself for his supposed sins, only to turn around and sleep with the saintess? What in the world?

The saintess reminds me of Trashta from The Remarried Empress. It also makes absolutely no sense how she can wield both demonic and holy powers. Wouldn't combining two opposing forces come with some serious repercussions? How is she able to use both without any repercussions? after the battle, she didn't showsigns of weakening, blood loss making her seem invincible.

And my God, Astaroth is so dumb. She was warned, yet somehow couldn't see through the the ML's (emperor's) intentions? I understand that she's blinded by love, but she's also lived for thousands of years. Surely, she should have enough experience to recognize the signs of betrayal. And don't even get me started on how easily she was killed. I thought she was a powerful demon? How does someone who's supposed to be strong die from such a small wound? It just feels so underwhelming.

I have so much complaints especially Astaroth's relationship with Meriem but I'm just getting irritated when I try to remember the scenes. Overall, it's a waste of time if you're looking for a well written story. (⊙…⊙ )
