For reall… I’m not sure at all. I’m thinking it has to be a misunderstanding given everything. The uncle doesn’t seem like a bad person inherently. And he said that “how would he face his sister” if anything happened to Dante. Now that could have been a lie, but I’m sure there’s more to the story and that the uncle didn’t kill his sister. I have a feeling the manga is leading to a happy ending given the plot conveniences and current turn of events. So I’m betting on the fact that the uncle didn’t kill his sister, that it’s all a misunderstanding, and that once everything is explained they’ll all live in peace and what not. That’s what I think, personally. Otherwise, why portray the uncle as a decent person? The signs are pointing to him being good imo.
